What’s new in 3217
January has sped past with some significant milestones!
Our year has definitely started with some long overdue excitement as we officially opened the doors to our Geelong Property Hub office.
The entire team were so excited to move into our new space on Torquay Road in the Armstrong Creek Town Centre. As the team develops and grows, a bigger space will allow us all to keep connected.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you into this new space that fabulously reflects our values and vision. We can’t wait to show you around and share your property journey.
Keeping up with our team
The team enjoyed a well-deserved and relaxing break over the holiday season and have hit the ground running in 2022.
Jesse celebrated his 1-year anniversary with the Sales team. He’s such a valued member of our team – can’t believe it’s only been a year!
We had the pleasure of having Mandy from the Icycle Bicycle join us for open homes on a beautiful sunny day. Our prospective buyers were treated with a delicious ice-cream as they enjoyed a look through some fantastic homes.

Sales Update
The holiday season didn’t slow down our sales progress at all!
Coming into the new year, the enquiry and buyer attendance at open homes has remained strong and fiercely competitive. We may sound like broken records, but we are still seeing consistency and a healthy amount of interest with a constant stream of offers.
We’re also reaching out to those who have purchased in the past to engage with us to assist with refinancing. Even if the time in your property has been short, we recommend exploring a valuation on your property. It’s likely you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the value and your repayment schedule too. Our services are free and non-obligatory!

Rental Update
January saw an incredibly busy month with a lot of movement through our properties. The team were able to lease a huge 32 properties this month, finding homes for a lot of their current renters who were relocating due to the sale of their previous rental. There was some fantastic inter-team collaboration as sales and property management worked side by side on relocations.
Since the new laws for compliance check requirements in rental properties was announced in March 2021 our trades saw a massive backlog in jobs, however they are now in full swing with over 40 checks being completed monthly. If you own a relatively new property and haven’t yet chosen a preferred provider to complete these works for you, we strongly recommend chatting to your property manager to lock in a trade of your preference.
Land Update
Titled land is continuing to achieve incredible results in the 3217 corridor. With strong demand and limited land available, prices are continuing to grow. There has been demand for all shapes and sizes of land in all areas of 3217.
