Spring Show Off is back; and this year, we’re sharing the buzz

Since 2022, the Spring front yard competition has turned our local streets into something worth slowing down for. What started as a bit of friendly competition between neighbours in Armstrong Creek, Mount Duneed and Charlemont has grown into one of the most anticipated events on the community calendar. With more than 322 entries and 3381 votes since it began, it’s become highly anticipated, hotly contested and a source of community pride.

In 2026, it’s bigger and better than ever, with two prizes up for grabs in each area: Judges’ Choice and Community Vote, both valued at $300 each.

This year Spring Show Off is expanding across the Geelong Property Hub group, with our Oslo Property team running the competition in their own communities across Surf Coast, Bellarine and Geelong for the first time.

It’s a natural next step. Spring Show Off has always been about more than prizes; it’s about pride in where you live and the sense of connection that comes from a whole street getting behind it. We wanted more communities to be part of that.

This year’s competition partners and judging panellists are Confetti Blooms, returning to the competition for the second year and The Beach Willow Nursery and Cafe, who are joining the buzz for the first time.
